Ingredients

  • 1/2cupall-purpose floursifted
  • 3/4cupswheat bran
  • 1/2cup白脱牛奶
  • 3tablespoonsraisins
  • 1pieceraw egg
  • 1/4cupvegetable oil
  • 4tablespoonsbrown sugar
  • 2tablespoonsgranulated white sugar
  • 1/2teaspoonbaking soda

  • 1/2teaspoonvanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Combine buttermilk and bran. Let it stay for 12 to 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, preheat oven to 370 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat eggs and then add the vanilla extract and sugars. Mix well until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Pour-in the buttermilk and bran. Mix well.
  • Fold-in flour and raisins.
  • Arrange the mixture in muffin cups and then bake for 14 to 18 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test.
